| 吴建利，博士，男，1964年8月出生。1984年7月毕业于四川大学，获遗传学学士，1989年获得英国伯明翰大学应用遗传学硕士学位，2000年获得浙江大学农学博士学位。2000年8月到2002年2月担任国际水稻研究所（IRRI）亚洲水稻生物技术协作网（ARBN）顾问，2002年3月至2004年7月担任国际水稻研究所昆虫和植物病理系项目科学家。现为国家水稻改良中心研究员。
自1996年以来一直从事稻瘟病抗性机制和水稻生物技术研究。先后主持和参加课题16项。主要研究方向为水稻分子遗传学、功能基因组学、生物技术与分子育种。获国家发明专利两项，各级科技进步奖二项。发表论文60余篇。
